Heads up people; http://www.millennium-series.com/

'Paris-Chantilly will see changes and improvements made to our events, which will carry on forward to the 2014 season and beyond. We will be announcing on here over the next few days some of these changes, and other important event information.
So ... to begin with:
#1 - Division 1 and Division 2 Finalists will now have the opportunity to play their final match, for 1st and 2nd places, on the CPL field, in front of packed Grandstands and broadcast live on the MSTV Webcast! Matches will also be available to watch following the event, through http://new.livestream.com/millenniumseries
#2 - We will now introduce onto the CPL field only, a requirement that at the end of games, teams must shake hands in front of the spectators, as a show of respect and goodwill between teams.
#3 - EPBF World Cup Opening Ceremony - Following the Prelim games on Friday, the EPBF will host an opening ceremony presenting all the National Teams competing in their World Cup event, on the CPL Field.
#4 - Players Staging Area - we will ensure that large tents are available within the players areas in order to shade players from the sun, or, if the weather is not kind, shelter from the rain, for teams to prepare in before entering their Pit Area.
#5 - No Visible guns to be allowed in Trade Area. This new venue is a tourist attraction and we expect a lot of spectators. We therefore must enforce that no guns are to be seen in the Trade Area. Guns must be in bags when travelling through this area. This includes players using the tech facilities within this area; your guns need to be in a bag when taken to the relevant tech areas. Obviously, once inside a tech tent, they can be removed! We ask for your cooperation with this, to avoid any problems
#6 - Field Layout. This will be released next Friday, 16th August, 4 weeks prior to the event. Keep an eye out for it ... we're changing things up a little.'

I personally think #5 is silly, you really ought to expect paintball markers around a paintball site.
Common sense does not prevail.

Tigers, Defiance, Manchester Firm, Relentless, Lucky 15's and DV8 are all looking to secure promotion this year - lets look forward to a really good finish for the UK teams! No reason for you not to tune in for everyone at home!

Regarding #5.... It isn't a paintball site. I can see why they've done it. It really IS common sense.

Not really, what Paris was meant to offer is an actual World Cup (as opposed to the European Women's and Men's Cup at Campaign); Teams from Malaysia, Iran, America's all showed up to play as national squads.

Oh, that's not really 'revolutionary', they did the same thing at Toulouse in 08.
IIRC Toulouse '08 was the Intercontinental Cup, where existing teams from the various series were invited to play based on their previous seasons rankings in those series, not national teams, playing under their national flag, supposedly entered by their national federation, as at Chantilly!

As for #5, I saw no evidence of this being enforced, there were plenty of uncovered guns being carried around the trade area, albeit minus loaders, air and barrels!
