Hi

I'm recently new to taking up the sport and wanted to know if there was days where i can play / train speed ball or woods ball in my local area, other than the walkons on the first and second sundays of every month. I Live near Gatwick so my local sites are Holmbush and Campaign.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm in the same position mate. Me and the guys who I've started playing with have sorted out a deal with the local paintball site and he lets us use the speed ball arena for the day every other Saturday to train as long as we stay out of the way of the punters on site.

Wolfee ,firstly welcome to paintball and sup air.Bricket wood is not that far from you .We travel up to it and do it in an hour .Its all motorway and there are loads of teams and solos ,who would train with you or let you jump in. For you its about 50miles and Im sure other gatwick based ballers would lift share . Team No Hope springs to mind and Sussex Storm are teams you might try contacting. Lots of teams will be recruiting for next season ,over the coming months . Dont let the newb tag put you off contacting these teams ,they re all looking for new blood

Hi Guy thanks for the replys, helps alot. I've recently found that a nearer site does sup air every 3rd sunday so that will help until i really get to the point of becoming part of a team however bricketwood does sound like the place to go. But yet great idea about asking the site if you can use it off normal days too.
