The earlier boards have a Ramping point , Shockwave have a Ramping point and a Ramping Sustain, Thanks F3Z I knew this but tried to set it via the board to 5, It should do as it`s told, my point is ... it doesn`t ??
I would find it worrying from a software/hardware perspective if changes are not being saved/stored. It is almost as if the tournament lock feature has stuck on and is preventing changes. I'm an ex-coder for my sins and it wouldnt be the first time a software bug has caused issues :(

I'll call John myself now and try to get to the bottom of this.

I've only just heard about all of this. My refs tell me it was only a few markers that had problems, which under normal circumstances would suggest user error (which i'm sure anyone could understand). However, as you say, there still seems to be an issue with some even when the boards are set as per factory recommendations for Millennium settings. I'm sure Empire will want to clarify and appease this situation as quickly as all of us and I'll see if I can push this along.
Thanks mate.

right guys, I didn't set out to start a war on CPPS, Millenium or KEE. I simply wanted an answer. Please don't join in this thread for an argument. Up until about an hour ago, all the posts seem constructive and to the point!

As previously stated numerous times, I'm not blaming referees here. I just wanted to know if it was the kit playing up, or maybe Empire markers behaving differently to other brands (and hence that would be an understandable reason for a referee to have his doubts!).

EVERYBODY, STAY CALM!! :)

It's obviously a marker/board issue. Why cant they just allow it for the time being while everything gets sorted? I think penalising the players is totally the wrong way to go about it. I understand it's not "fair", but it makes sod all difference really.

As far as I'm led to believe there can't be any user error or "setting up" issues on the Redline at least. As you seen in my vid, the fire mode was on MILLS but as soon as you go to mess with any of the settings it immediately turns the fire mode to RAMP to show there has been some tampering. I've tried messing with every parameter and all revert to the RAMP mode :(
