Newbie who would like to join a team in Essex...

Hi,
I've signed up to the site as I'd like to join a paint ball team in the Essex area? I'm a complete newbie, but having done paintball a handful of times (and loved it) think it's definitely something I could get into. I'm 37 (a late starter!) but in good shape and I accept that I'm gonna be easy target practice for everyone who actually knows what their doing - fortunately, I'm a quick learner so I hope to move through this phase quickly!!!
From what I've gleaned from the internet so far, it seems people tend to do either Paintball or AirSup (is that Air soft with the small plastic pellets?) I think I'd prefer Paintball - though having said that I've never done any AirSup stuff...
Anyway, if some one can tell me of a club in Essex, when/where it meets and what money and/or gear I'd need to bring along I'd very much appreciate it...

I think it's the woodland stuff I'd like to try first as that's what I've already experienced and enjoyed. Mayhem - I live in Southend so that's gonna be quite a trek for me to do regularly, do you always train there or do you have any teams nearer? I really appreciate the offer though...

Thanks for getting back to me... I live in Southend, so where do you guys train? What gear/money do I need? and I will need help with getting the right gear... (fortunately) money's not such an issue, so I would want to invest in the right equipment and commit to it properly. It's the woodland stuff that I wanna get into and would want to be part of a good team that plays with tactics and works as a team, as that's the stuff that interests me - not running aimlessly around a wood being target practice for someone else! Hope you can help, but either way, thanks for getting back to me...

For woodsball / Secnario in essex you have quite a few teams

Spartan & Warren wood rangers - Warren Wood paintball
Mayhem secnario team - Mayhem Abridge
Universal Exports - Apocolypses Royston
