Just started playing again and was wondering if there are any worthwhile tips for keeping your kit clean? what routine do you guys follow? strip down your marker after every day, lube bolt? etc?

Found a spare toothbrush can be a godsend for some bits of kit already :)

Completely Clean my Marker/Lubing it before putting it away, and checking it's still nice a ready to rock before a Days play (Repeat)
I have the tendency to clean my marker just after I get in but the rest of the Kit stays dirty till the next day generally.
I stick my Pack, Gloves, Jersey and any other clothing in the washing machine on a rinse first then normal wash unless they are covered (Literally dripping) in Mud then I take them outside and wash it down with a Hose or Bucket etc to get the main lot off before heading into the Washing machine.
Hopper gets stripped a cleaned, batteries taken out of that and my Marker before being stored away.
Goggles/Mask get wiped down with wet wipes or a soft sponge/cloth then gets inspected for bits of shell stuck in vents etc. and lens for cracks, lens gets some anti-fog formula sprayed lightly on and cleaned off with a microfiber, the rest of the Mask gets cleaned with kitchen roll or a towel along with a bit of water then all put back together before being put into the Microfiber bag and again stored away.
That's how I do it anyways.

Just always check everything a night or two before you play, the last thing you want is to have a faulty set up before a big game or tournament.

Yeh I most times then not will clean my gun after I got home from a days balling and like to check it over before a game too.

Mask gets sprayed down (lens cleaned with a cloth) with shower nozzle, (and left to dry) pants and jersey washed down same way or if they are really bad else straight in the washing machine.

Ear buddings work a treat for getting in the hard to reach spots ;)

Thanks guys, but is it really necessary to lube the marker each time?
I personally would - All you do is remove the Normal Lube that's on there and re-apply the normal amount.
Keeps it working and clean.
Last thing you want is a broken marker, I'd rather pay a extra £5 for Lube each month than £50 for a Service/Fix as I didn't keep it maintained properly.
A Properly maintained marker is a happy marker :)

Just worried about wear and tear on taking it apart to get to the bolt... However I just realised my DM10 is a easy job :)
