Sly dealers? (After chin straps)

Hi all,

Bought two pairs of sly profits but they didn't come with chin straps as they are second hand. Me and the mrs both prefer to use chin straps (because I enjoy running around like a headless chicken, she likes to know her mask stays where she put it).

I now have i4's instead (much better fit for my head) but the mrs still likes her profits.

Does anyone know of any of the stores etc that deal with sly as the responses I'm getting are not positive. Most commonly the response is "the company have quality issues so we stopped stocking them or dealing with them".

Failing that does anyone have contact details for sly? It seems to be the case that they don't even have their own website.

Any help would be appreciated. I still need 2 of them as the second pair will be sold soonish but I refuse to sell without chin straps. Although the profits are ok without any buyer should have the option.

well after quick look,they do have a website with a contact form, so you could maybe ask directly about distributors? http://shop.valken.com/k/contact

failing that I'd just make some phone calls to the companies who have stocked them. In case you've missed any i found:

I assumed valken was just a stockist as the website for sly redirects to it instead. I'll try that and see how i get on. I should know by now every company has 5 parent companies...

Lips definitely don't, I've contacted them about it. I've contacted fat bobs before and had no reply so i haven't bothered trying them, the others I have not contacted though so they are a worthwhile venture if valken fails. I don't have a big list of shops as I'm rather new to owning my own gear hence why I posted in here. I'll add them to the list

I didn't realise that Valken owned Sly until doing that search, so i'm just as surprised as you!
There isn't actually that many at all in the UK and with the exception of specialist dealers like warped and rap4 then that's pretty much the entire list, with the exception of justpaintball who didn't have them listed on their website for some reason.

I know of warped, they are just down the road. like Lips though...refuse to stock sly due to quality issues. seems to be a theme emerging

I've contacted valken using the form...time will tell what sort of response i get. Hopefully something positive haha.

I have noticed that paintball shops in the uk are few and far between. Quite annoying as there are actually quite a few paintball sites. I'll save the recommended stores for future use though. I'm sure they will come in handy at some point

thank you for the offer but unfortunately the sly's are going up for sale later tonight alongside my marker. Time to move house so almost everything inside the current house is going to save the hassle of moving it all
