Hi all,

I'm looking for Geo 3 spare parts, and a Geo 3 Comprehensive Parts Kit or two (Preferably unused/unopened)

Let me know what you've got :D

Cheers

Henry

for the standard spare parts bag you are probably best going to PE direct. I can tell you from past experience that if you just need to change a couple of orings you don't have then one of the techs will happily post you them for free.

Hiya as Liam says if you are after the spares kit that came with your geo give planet a call they may have some spares packs for sale. I don't think planet do a geo 3 parts kit like they use to for the geo 1, ego9. I think they only do this kit now http://www.store.justpaintball.co.uk/paintball-guns/eclipse/eclipse-upgrades-parts/eclipse-universal-parts-kit.html
Ah cheers mate, yeah I've spoken to them now, they don't do the comprehensive parts kit anymore, which raises the question, what do you do if something more serious occurs, such as a solenoid needing replacement etc? Hmmmm... will have to ask Planet Eclipse about this o_O

Anyway, cheers for the help guys (y)

Hello Henry

The comprehensive kits only came with o-rings, gaskets, screw, detents and a few extra's bits depending on model of marker. None of them come with a solenoid. If the solenoid goes its a phone call to planet

Nothing stopping you buying the bits yourself i suppose but the way i see it, if a solenoid goes or something as serious as that, even with a spares kit with one of them in it it's still going to take a while to swap it out. And since that's the case you'd probably be better taking it to an eclipse tech at the event and buying it on the day, rather than having a £50 solenoid or whatever just sitting in your bag waiting to get used, and it might not even get used. For the Geo3 there's no 'major' parts that I'd really want to keep in a spares kit, and the only thing I'd even consider for an ego would be a spare rammer, because people often don't put the bolt pin in place right and it damages/bends them.

In addition to the orings, screws, detents, gasket etc. that is in a spares bag from planet, the only other kind of things i keep spares of in my toolbox are macroline fittings and batteries.

Ah right, so Planet still supply solenoids and such for Geos and Egos if someone ever needs them, that's good to hear.
I was a bit concerned, because having used minis for a fair while and having my own spare solenoids and boards etc, which are easy enough to fit, I'd assumed that was the case for all brands

Anyway, thanks again mate (y)

Fair enough, I suppose Planet guns are supposed to be pretty reliable, or so I've heard, are they generally regarded then as being quite low maintenance markers?
