anyone got any opinions on how they think this layout will play yet? I know it's early days, but still keen to hear what people are thinking of it!

Fast paced, and aggressive, well i hope so anyway, can shoot down the snake!
agreed. I know it's hard to say without actually walking the field first, but there doesn't seem a great deal you can shoot from the "back centre" shall we say, off the break. Like no clear defined lanes that would be beneficial that I can see. Although I won't want to be staying there for too long tbh...

I like how the back centers done on this, you can quickly bump up to the next cake, then depending whether you need to fill out on someone from ether tbag or snake, there is a can both sides to go too:)

So what teams will have the balls to leave 2 guys at the start gate to shoot lanes for the first 5-10 seconds? :D
and what lanes would that be liam? :p those cans have ruined everything! the only lanes I can see from back centre-ish would probably involve stepping out wide of the cake on either side...

you sir need to become accustomed to drawing lines on MS paint! :D there's 3 decent lanes i can see from the start gate, and as you rightly said there's even more if you step out a couple of metres.
