So over the weekend i noticed that my second was always a dud and didn't make it out the barrel. FSDO settings work perfect as the first shot is always fine but the second shot consistently got stuck.

it was never a huge problem since a 3rd shot cleared it at the start gate but it was a pain if it happened to smash the paint in the barrel.

Both the bolt and regulator are well maintained and i actually changed all major bolt orings and the regulator piston oring before the start of this season so I'm at a bit of a loss on what else i can do.

I use duracell procell 9Vs which i know aren't a dogs bollocks battery but it hasn't ever caused any other issues.

If you were at the CPPS yesterday you should have taken it to Robert at the Eclipse Tech Booth in the LIPS stand ;)

What is your dwell set at and what is your battery indicator showing?

I know poor Rob and Stewart were swamped yesterday haha so i wasn't in a huge rush :p

can't be sure until i see my gun tomorrow Nicky but dwell is at stock 12.5 i believe, with FSDO and FSDO delay turned up slightly from stock.
Battery indicator was full when i started playing on Saturday, and was showing round about 80% or so after Sunday.

To drop that fast that soon puts my money on the battery being less than ideal. Invest a little in an Energy Paintball battery and eliminate that worry before checking anything else.
you want a student to get the best batteries money can buy? If i must haha :(

D'awww shucks. Look at you being all considerate. ;)

The energy PB batteries aren't that dear. Just a lil' bit less than £5 for two. Not bad seeing as it's about £3/4 for one comparably decent battery from a supermarket.

Got home and checked, my dwell was actually down at 11, so i bumped this up to 11.5 (still the same battery) and it seems to have done the trick. will still be investing in some swanky batteries for next event though :)
