Undo the macro line
Unscrew the reg from the marker
Unscrew top part of reg from the bottom part(bottom part includes where the macroline is)
Inside the top section is a metal rod with some metal shims. It is tricky to get out, you might need to use a allen key by hooking into a hole at the top of the rod. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE SHIMS UNTIL YOU HAVE A RECORD OF HOW THEY ARE POSITIONED i.e. which ones are up and down. They should be pushing against each other. I think there are about 8 inside.
Then remove shims, clean shims and rod.
There is an o-ring on the bottom of the rod/plunger clean and regrease. Use something like a DOW33.
Remove any excess grease

Reassemble.
Put shims back in the same order on the rod
Push into top of reg
Screw top and bottom back together
Screw back on to gun
Reattach macro line

Cheers mate,

I will have another go. The following just does not want to budge as the macroline fitting spins around the reg. Its a real pain in the A** to grip. I have tried pipe grips using card/microfibre cloth to protect but it still appears to be slightly marking the anno. Getting annoyed!

Is there an alen key cut out down the outlet port? Some regs are round outlet but further down hole an allen key will fit.

There was an 8mm allen key in the bottom of the reg. I then covered the top section in two rubber seals from a conduit stop end box to protect it. held in place with some pipe grips together with a A serious amount of force and hey presto it come loose. I don't think it has ever been cleaned!! (n)

Cheers for all the help and suggestions
