I thought I had managed to solve this leak but it has surfaced again. The solenoid is leaking from the gasket area. The leak only happens when the ram is forward, I thought this could have been a leaking ram but there is no leak coming from the front end when the hose is off. There is no leak when the ram is extended and the back block is backwards. Also the LPR seems to be working correctly and the gasket seems to be in good shape. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this before i start replacing things in the hope it works.

Could be a damaged solenoid gasket or maybe solenoid isn't seated properly in housing

Have you checked to see if the retaining screws are still done up tight?

Sure the leak is coming from the gasket/solenoid?
Sounds exactly like one of my autocockers, use some soapy water at the rear barb on the ram and see if that's the culprit.

If so you either need to use loctite or teflon-tape on the threads of the barb, replace the rear o-ring inside the ram or both.

A second culprit could be if you have a QEV at the rear of the ram, the seal/diaphragm might have gone bad.
