Facts:-
1.This site has 27,833 members at the time of posting;
2. The UKPSF would like 1800 members;
3. The busiest part of this forum is the "For Sale" section.
It's fair to assume that every person buying a paintball marker on here is fairly committed to playing paintball, and has probably already spent a wad of cash on playing and buying stuff.
It's also a fair to assume that they will continue to do so for the time being. Especially the Gun Whores.
So, how about each time someone sells a gun on here, the seller asks whether the buyer is a UKPSF member?
If not, both parties agree to £15 of the selling price to be in respect of a 1 year UKPSF membership.
The seller receives the cash from the buyer, pays for the membership and takes it out in the buyer's name - he will have all the details to do this anyway.
The buyer gets the gun and the membership.
At the rate guns change hands on here, we should be looking at a healthy boost to the membership.
Would you? I would.
And to put my money where my mouth is, I sold a gun to Gee Tee the other week.
If he would kindly post up to let me know whether he is a UKPSF member, I would be grateful.
If he is not, I will take out a membership for him.
If he is, I'll go the person I sold a gun to before him, and ask him the same question.
