Just bare in mind that this will only cover one of the various criteria that has to be met. Don't all be thinking that once the ukpsf get 1800 member that it'll be sealed and delivered.

Plus. This will only help to get the application looked at by sport England. There is still no guarantee it'll be signed off as a sport.

Way i see it though is that along with getting an application moving, the increase in memberships puts more resources at bully's disposal to help take those all important steps to having paintball well regulated and promoted.

Yeah, by no means was I trying to be negative about it all. There's just more contributory factors that will need to be put in place for this. So don't just be thinking that membership alone will make paintball a sport(which it isn't at the minute)

I have always thought the only way to get the players to join the UKPSF is to either make membership compulsory when playing at registered sites and events or offer discounted entry to events and sites for registered members.
This would need to be applied across the board for Walk-on, Scenario and tournament players to be effective.
I personally have no issue paying £20.00 for 1 years membership each season, frankly that's less than the cost of a box of training paint for 12 months personal liability cover.

I notice that Liam92's membership is #5807. Doesn't this mean that there's already over 1800 members?

well at the very least, businesses should have to join. There are around 300 fields, so 427 is a pathetic number.
