Issues with AXE on\off button

Hi

Just recently got my Axe and used it for a couple of training sessions and the first round of the southern masters. Came to clean it today and noticed it wasnt turning on so at first I assumed it was a dead battery. However, after I replaced the battery it still wasnt turning on so I removed the board and found out that the on\off button only operates if pressure is applied to the back of the board (on the bottom of the foam pad thing on the back of the board).
I think im going to need a new board or a new on\off button and was wondering that as the marker is essentially brand new if Id be able to get the work done under warranty.

I think KEE will most likely offer you a replacement board. If you get stuck though (doubtful as KEE are very good like that) drop me a PM and if you send me your board, I'll sort out a switch and replace it for you...

The minis have suffered with this also, while it's not necessarily a manufacturing fault, it can be avoided with a little better insulation around the board buttons. The copper disc inside the switch oxidises and this prevents a good circuit when the button is pressed. It can be cleaned and glued back together, but it's just as easy to solder the old switch off and replace it with a new one...

Try a different battery you probably have an unusually small battery. If I dangle the battery outside the gun by the wire I also can't hit the switch from the front. Some batteries are fatter than others sounds like the board is fine its just the battery isn't pushing on the back of the board enough.

when fish says fatter battery, use only a Duracell battery, anyway, this pushes out the board against the buttons and I`ve found if it doesn`t , put a bit of card alongside the other side of the battery to do so, should be ok then ?
