Hi All,

Just signed up for the board so thought I'd say hi. I've played paintball casually about 10 times, a couple of times recently and I'm looking to take the plunge and get some kit, try and head out on a more regular basis. Have a few mates who seem interested to come, at least once or twice anyway. Probably be heading to Mayhem in Essex mostly, although any recommendations on fields would be appreciated.

Secondly, where are you based exactly ?

Holmbush Paintball is well worth the trip to the monthly walk on!!
Great Marshalls and better fields, with a 'Walk on' only area.

I live South East London near Peckham, heading further south is always an option. I'll check that place out for sure, as long as its not much more than an hour in the car I'd consider it..

Yeah, I've had a look on the map, maybe a little more than that but it's still in striking distance. I've got a group of guys who fancy a game early next year, just something casual, might try and head down that way and check it out

Hi and welcome! If you do go to Mayhem, ask for Ronnie Hollington, and tell him I sent you mate. Ronnie is a stand up guy, and knows every aspect of the game, the games, teams and most things paintball. He'll sort you out.

Alright mate,

Yeah I I've been trying to put together a list of potential sites and that was on the list. I'm a bit further east so wasn't sure what the traffic would be like but I think early Sat/Sun morning should be OK. Were you looking at doing walkons with your own kit, or just turn up on a normal day and rent?
