do you mean problem as in with the colouring or with it causing problems mechanically? if you mean mechanically then no i've never heard of it causing problems. colouring is a whole different ball game though, if the person doing it is experienced and knows what they are doing then you will get a good finish but if not you run the risk of the colour being off or not having a smooth looking finish to it.

You probably know better than me but I'm sure annodising involves attaching the molecules of the powder on to the metal rather than sitting on top, so won't thicken the metal in any way which is what would cause problems

basicly when you get a gun annodised it need stripping1st which dissolves the old anno but also dissolves some of the alluminium, im talking microns then its reoxidised which removes more aluminium (microns again) then its put in dye which adds a few microns but not as much as has been taken off in the 1st 2 processes.

Now that may sound all abit technical but to cut it short, reannoing your gun can cause problems if its not been done right
i.e: if they take too many microns off your orings wont be sealing nicely and will leak, ive seen this before on someones gun they sent to a commercial annodisers

it depends if its been re-annoed from stock, as you can normally get away with it once on a spollie as the machining tolerences are very tight, but too many times can give you problems especially if its not done right
