Gauge reading incorrectly

think the gauge on my empire sniper decided to get drunk because its reading 120 psi with no air going in and when its aired up and shooting about 290fps (usually reading about 220-240 psi) its going off the chart way past 300. any way of fixing it or just need to replace the gauge?

If its out then its a matter of replacing the gauge (or ignoring it and being aware that its out of alignment)
