Had a Creed, didn't really like it. Now have a 2012 Demon, unbelieveably consistent (about 1-3 fps out per shot on chrono.)
It does admittedly go wrong a hell of alot. Vanguard and Foot are amazing at helping and fixing it all, generally its something simple, so don't be too turned away.

Oh and a mate just upgraded to the 2013 internals, his Demon used to be the worlds worst for going wrong (about 3 times a day ahah) but since then it has been perfect ;)

So yeah, definitely either buy a new one outright, or get a 2012 and send it off to Vanguard to upgrade ;D

Does anyone know the rough prices for these things second hand?

Creed - ?
Demon 2012 - ?
Demon 2012 + 2013 internals - ?
Demon 2013 - ?

Sam has one and he talks as though it's the dogs bollocks! ;)
From what i've seen, when they work, they work well but they don't work forever where as my Ego works near enough non stop!!

I would go Eclipse if you can afford a Creed if you can afford a Demon with 2013 internals then that also seems like a good option.
Or
A Geo+/Ego 09+ if you look at the markers that are the best in my opinion!

I did have a Creed, didn't like it but it was a Dodgy marker anyways someone modified it and broke it basically.
So not giving my opinion based on that but from what i've seen. Just so you know.

I've been using Creeds for 18+ months now and I am more than happy with them - so much so that I preferred them over the Ego 9 that I had (and have since sold). I can't quantify why, but to me the Creed feels better in the hand and feels better to shoot than my Ego, as well as being quieter and lighter.

I've bought one new and a couple second hand, and I've had few issues with them. The only serious issue I have had was that the board on the brand new one died (Vanguard replaced it under warranty). I did have problems on the field yesterday, but that was down to bad paint issues, rather than the gun. Aside from that, they have caused me no bother at all.
