I want to purchase a new marker and I have read that most electronic markers only run on HPA, well heres the problem the nearest place where I could get HPA is 1 hour away and I am not travelling that far for some air, so I was looking at a milsim type paintball marker, however I want a better gun than a BT4 Combat which runs on C02. Can anybody help me please? Could you give me a list of what milsim markers run on C02.

Please don't go on about "Get a HPA bottle as they are better", because I cannot run on HPA as I cannot refill them.

im no expert but i believe that electronic markers NEVER run on co2 as its harmful too components. tipmanns run on co2 though, most semi auto markers do.

All mechanical milsim markers should be able to run CO2.

Probably the best will be the Tippmann Phenom, but also look at the Crossover by Tippmann.

As you mentioned you want a better marker, then it will be time to bite the bullet and go for HPA and go for a an electro.
Checkout local dive shops for bottle refills.

I think your right. The Smart Parts Ion's can run on CO2 as long as the CO2 bottle has an anti-syphon on it.

Daz, I understand where you are coming from as I was there in the past.

Question though bud is why do you want to refil your bottle away from a paintball site??

If you are only gonna be using your marker on a site (either at a walk-on or big game) they will refill for you.

On the other hand if you are wanting to use in your back garden to learn how your marker works best for you then I suggest making sure your bottle gets refiled at the end of the game. It is how I keep my HPA bottles full.
