Hi guys need some help with my geo3, was using it today in the cold and at around 1,000 psi remaining in my air tank, when the bolt started to fail to cycle properly, making that distinctive half puff sound with balls cliggoging the barrel up, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

First thing I'd check would be the battery. I've had this issue a couple of times with my Geos, majority of the time it has been the battery, if it wasn't that it was the bolt that needed greasing.

Yeah quite a common problem if you aren't lubing your bolt properly. It shouldn't be a problem on the geo3 but on some of the first geo2s out the oring on the propshaft was too fat and caused the same problem so you might want to just change that anyway if you aren't in a rush

Lol yeah I remember, but just put the batrery on a tester and its reading 8.7 volts ie nearly full, also the sfr has been lowered, the one on the side that alters the speed of the bolt, its at about half travell, wondered if that made a differance?

I striped, cleaned n greased it and it seams to be fine now :)

If you test a new battery they will read 9.6v, well that's what all the pro cells do. I would just chuck in a battery. I played with mine today in cold damp wet conditions in the woods. I had sfr at min (all the way clockwise) and it didn't miss a beat. Sometimes the cold can play havoc with batteries.

First thing to do is change the battery; the voltage reading that you are getting is not the same as the amount of charge in the battery. This is what is required to reliably operate the marker.

If this makes no difference then increase your SFR setting back to the highest.
