Here you go, my old GoPro HD barrel mounted using the GoPro 'Ride Hero' handlebar mount kit.

To be honest I think head-mounting cameras gives a far better view of the game, too many jerky moves when they're barrel mounted.

Thanks Gadget, im after a camera' but not sure if im going with a Gopro or contour.. i dont like the idea of being on my mask cause depending on which side i poke out it may just be looking at whatever im hiding behind.. and with the barrel the camera looks to follow the paint stream more?

Not the best of pics, but you can see the other way I mounted the Go Pro over my goggles using the headstrap mount - can be a bit fiddly getting goggles on/off though.

The shape of the Contour does lend itself better to headmounting than the GoPro. Other options are the new Sony Actioncam:

Both of those will film 720p at 100fps allowing for much nicer slowmo. The specs for the GoPro 3 Black look amazing, but you'll need to sell a kidney to buy it.

only problem with this is when I use my go pro with a head strap to play tournie all i get is lovely footage of my rotor
