Hello
A small review and pictures of the Etha emc body kit I picked up from LIPS yesterday. Out of the 2 colours I decided on black, the sand colour looks great but I had made my mind up on black or green.
On first impressions I am really impressed with it.
In the Kit you get
Right and left body shells
Right and left eye covers
2 stock lever locks
Stock blanking plate
Stock adaptor and o-ring to add a stock and
The body screws and eye cover screws. (There are also some spare body screws included)

It is very well made, the body, eye covers and stock adaptors are made from GRN.
The instructions are clear concise with easy to follow diagrams. If you are not one for following instructions you need to read them, as the first 3 body screws need to be tightened up is a certain order. There are extra slots in the body to add extra picatinny/tactical for all your mods.

The original etha body is just under 20cm with EMC body added it is now just under 40cm
I would say it took less than 10 minutes to put together.
Hopefully someone will make a magazine clip that will disguise the HPR reg and fit on the bottom of the picatinny/tactical rail.

Looks good and more importantly, great photos! :)

The only downside I can see with the EMC is that it'll be a bugger to clean once paint gets into all the holes and nooks.

Thank You. I think you may be right about the paint getting into all the holes being a bugger to clean. All going to plan I should be playing on Saturday morning before work it will be her 1st outing in the EMC body. I will let you know the out come on Sunday if its a :) or a  . I think if they were covered up with the tactical rails, it might help the issue.

What stock does it take? A5 or the BT4/M98?
Hello Alex

with the stocks I have purchased two 2nd hand stocks to try.

The 1st stock for the BT4/98 fits into the EMC stock clamps with no problem.

This one didnt fit because of the stock clamps hitting the rear of the stock plate. (this is also for the BT4/98). Where the EMC clamps need to fit around the neck of the stock the neck is to short by 1cm.

The A5 stock is a no because of the 2 lugs sticking out.

I will post up some pictures later showing the problems with the EMC stock clamp not fitting the 2nd stock

No worries,

I have taken some photos to show the issue with folding stock.

This is the TM-15 style stock, the neck longer to fit the stock clamps.

The folding stock.

When the stock clamps are lined up with the grooves in the stock neck of the folding stock the stock neck is approx 9mm to short. You would have to cut into the neck or cut down the stock clamps. If you cut into the stock clamps I think it would weaken them and they would not clamp into the EMC body as you would be removing some of the lugs. I did prefer the folding stock and it was my favoured one out of the two

Hiya

I played on Saturday and the gun was shot a couple of times. Once I left the field I wiped down the body before the next game. A couple of the screw holes had paint in them. Once home, the barrel had some spray and the rear of the etha body near the bolt had some fine spray from the paint going through the 2 rear most tactical rail mounting slots.

I removed the EMC body and found some paint between the 2 body shells but then that would alway happen as paint will always find the gaps. :).

once the EMC body dries it will be back on the etha :)

hello m8, sorry if this is a question that you have been asked before, but is there a website that sells cheap but fairly good quality sights/stocks etc that wont break the bank? looking to buy a kit for my Geo3,(which can be achieved with a quick modification) and go from there really!?
