Shaft 4 boost kit question

Hi, I just got myself a shaft 4 boost kit for my Etha and I'm wondering why they give you a 693 when the standard barrel is a 693 it just seems try could have made another size for the kit
Anyone know why?

did you buy a shaft 4 boost kit or an Etha boost kit?

the standard shaft4 boost kit has a 0.693 and a 0.685 back in it as the standard barrel on the Ego11 and the Geo3 is a 0.689
the Etha boost kit has a 0.689 and a 0.685 back as the standard Etha/Etek4 back is a 0.693

yup there is an Etha boost kit, no idea if Sales have any in stock you would need Stoney to answer that.
0.689 back isn't available on its own as far as i know.

where did you buy your boost kit from? if you bought it directly from planet and haven't used it then im pretty sure Stoney could arrange swapping it for an Etha one for you if you ask nice.

I was looking at teh boost kit last night, and I thought it totally stupid that a kit comes with a barrel diameter that is ALREADY included with the stock guns (etha, etek 4). Seriously.. that's just ridiculous. Also.. can you produce them in the HDE Earth colours as well? It's just bad marketting. You have such good rep, but just seems like you are falling short here.

No disrespect intended... it just seems mind boggling, surely there should be other sizes? (unless the ego's didn't come with 693 barrels?)

Firstly sorry that you feel this way, however it has been explained a fair few times above that this Boost Kit is designed for the top end range of our markers, the Geo3 and Ego11.

Bore sizes have changed a lot over the last few years, and it's something that we will have to constantly re-evaluate as we go on.
