Never understand the idea of a "Woodsball" marker that looks like a real military firearm? We don't shoot paintballs far enough to need sights, they aren't suited to magasines etc. By making them look "real" they are made heavier and more cumbersome - especially if you have a nice coily remote hose to tangle in branches and make it hard to swap hands.... Couple this with the fact that most are based uon blowback style markers and they are too heavy, bulkier, less efficient and offer a slower ROF.
An electro pneumatic (solenoid controlled) marker in a torunament style body is luighter and more efficient and at home anywhere you play paintball. They come in black too, if you really must imagine subtle colours make a difference,,,,
As for spoolie v poppet - personal preference. I shoot poppets, as I find them easier to maintain and repair, but spoolies are a little quieter and smoother to shoot.
