Right, since I didn't want to thread hack, question time. MacDev Tactical Drone or an Etha with the EMC kit? Etha is slightly cheaper as a base marker but I have no idea how much it'll be for the EMC kit. The Tac Drone, whilst out of production, but there are a couple new-in-box ones left at BZ.

my shout would be for the tac drone. we used them for a whole season and they were awesome - and BZs support for you will be great.

i tried the etha and it had far more kick than the drone.

but your best bet is to go out and try them if you can.

I've shot both, but the tac drone I shot had the DX drive in it with a load of other upgrades that I can't remember. (Had a Gommie Kick Up ASA on it, that was nice) Do MacDev's go wrong a lot? (I do love macdev's design of over-engineering everything)

Macdev everyday for anyone with a tech savy brain as the amount of o-rings in macdev drive trains can be worrying sometimes (despite the fact only a few are dynamic o-rings so you wont need to change many at all).

Macdevs will ALWAYS outshoot any planet markers in my opinion

Too true. I miss my Clone VX. She was beautiful, smooth, efficient. Drive train looks bonkers but it is fine really...
