Creed v2 leak and knackered Allen head

I picked up a vanguard creed v2 last night, tested before buying, was working fine. Went to try it out today and it has a leak from what sounds like the trigger area.

I can't remove the rammer to check the o rings, because the Allen head is completely rounded up! Is there somewhere in the uk that I could send it to? Only problem I have is, it's supposed to be a leaving gift for a fellow marshal and he leaves on 12th August.

Which screw is it that rounded off. The one by the trigger frame or the one at the back ??

The only way you will be able to sort is it to either drill out the screw or use a torx head and hammer that into it and get it off that way

Thats how i got mine off anyway

It's the ram cap itself that's rounded up. But not sure what's behind it, so didn't want to start drilling/hammering. It's my first tourney, so a bit unsure.

Ah the Rammer Cap Sorry i thought you ment a actually screw that hold the grip frame off

In that case then you will need to either just a

Bigger Allen key to try and undo it

or

Use a flat head screwdriver tap a grove in the cap and then try and undo it


or

Use a Torx head

Either way you will need a new Rammer Cap

He has, thank you, he gave me the same advice. I think I shall be posting it to him to repair, the issue I have with the ram cap is, it's been anno'd deep purple to match the marker, so won't get another in that colour!

He might be able to sort something out. Ive rounded a rammer cap off so many times its easy done.

I am arranging to take it down to him, as he's not far from me. A full service and repair with new cap should sort the problems. Awesome bit of kit otherwise!
