Which barrel?

Guys,
I'm looking to upgrade the stock barrel on my Proto Rail, and I know a lot of you would say save the money and look for a better gun, but I want to spend a lot more time playing first and developing my skills rather than spunking hundreds of pounds on an upgraded marker when this could be put towards training and paint costs :) This is my view on things anyway.

Anyway, back to the point, I'm stuck between the choice of 2 barrels, the eclipse shaft 4 or the dye ultralite (14 inch). The paint i predominantly use is the G.I. Sportz 1 star, and on my stock .690 barrel and most balls just simply roll through the barrel. Has anyone got any experience of the 2 who can offer some good advice on what would be best?

EDIT: This wasn't a post for people to comment on bore match for paint, I have a pretty good understanding of this, it was meant to be aimed more at which barrel would offer the better accuracy.

I had this thought, as the shaft 4 has a longer control bore :)
Only thing is that the shaft 4 comes with the .689 back, so i'd have to get the boost kit as well, giving me the .692 back as well i think which i doubt i'd have any use for, but with the UL barrel I can just buy the correct size back

I've shot all kinds of paint through the 689 and never had any trouble, so personally i'd just get that and stick with it :)

Neither - gor for a Un1tec kit instead. £55-60 quid for a set of three barrels (.685, .689 and .693), and the control bore runs the whole length of the barrel, rather than just half like the others.

Any idea where would sell the Un1tec barrel? Or even the shaft 4 barrel for that matter, they do it on just paintball but is out of stock...

A good barrel kit will last you past this marker so its an investment
but if it was me I would try to find something cheap 2nd hand like a empire revolver kit or spend a bit more on a freak kit both give you many more options over the two you listed above
