Diamond wars looks great, I would love to go to that, would be a bit scared of going on my own, I hate being a loner. You guys think it's worthwhile going on my own?

MorphMann would be awesome to meet up and shoot mate, where abouts do you play in Kettering?

I live in Northampton (Hunsbury) and have just started playing paintball fairly recently. I have spent some time researching where to play locally as a walk-on (a much harder task that it really should be).

There used to be Paintball Valhalla which was just outside Kettering, but that is in the process of moving site at the moment, and I don't think they have a date for the new site being ready just yet. They are on fb:

Unique pursuits don't do walk-on at the moment (last checked April 2012).

Skirmish Northampton looked like they would do walk-on, but don't answer emails or the phone when I tried (mid June), so don't know what's going on there.

As far as I can tell Sabotage Paintball just south of Milton Keynes used to do walk-on, but again don't answer email and I have not got around to calling, Looking at this thread it seems a bit quiet

Going further afield there is:
Weekend Warriors at Reading, bit of a drive, but a good site. Played there last week and other than our team getting utterly annihilated by the opposition was a good day out, I think a bit of site knowledge made a huge difference.

Paintball Park at Kidderminster. Was going to to last month, but couldn't make it in the end. Yet to find a bad review though.

Apocalypse Paintball, Royston

If anyone gets more information about any of the closer sites, or finds others, I'll definitely come along. Don't really like 4hrs of travelling for 8hrs of paintball!

Hi guys, would be great to meet up with you both wanted and go to one of those walk ons? I don't mind the journey though it is a bit of a pain. I don't mind driving anyway.

I spoke to the owner of Valhalla the other day, he sold me an air system, said he should be opening up soon at Barnwell, which is out Oundle way. I have been told that Hostile Fire don't do walk ons, though I haven't contacted them myself.

I don't know if either of you would be interested but there's also Diamond Wars as mentioned above, which I am desperate to go to, would be cool if we car pooled, again I don't mind driving.

Cheers.
