Just to let everyone know that I have had some problems with Robt2809; make sure this does not happen to you.
Rather than bore everyone with the minutia of the deal I'll just say that he still has not paid in full for something that I sold to him on 12th June, and posted the day after.

I can agree on this. Rob is out of order and facing a ban from this forum and any other who wish to avoid a problem buyer.

I could go into detail but lets just say a marker trade was anything but simple he had my gun 17 days using at least twice including Diamond Wars before the one I was trading for turned up (today). He said he posted one day and despatch date is clearly different on the sticker (lied to me). I requested the tracking number days ago and I never got it.
I have the marker now but I was getting ready to either go to his house or call the police.

Hi guys, I am so sorry for my ridiculous behaviour, I've been going through a rough time at school and with home. I have been getting ready to move to Australia and so I have had my priorities rearranged. I am terribly sorry for any trouble caused and I will be amending these issues as soon as I can.

I apologise perfeusely.

My sincere apologies'

Cheers Rob,
I thought I should say the UK paintball scene is not enormous and everyone i've met have been really decent and really helpful, when individuals sell or trade are genuinely straight up and are not looking to profit (which requires trust) but rather get some cash to for their old gear to carry on playing, generally we are out to have a good time, shoot some paint and have a laugh.
P8nt is a great site in my experience its set up and run really well giving the ability to give and get feedback and protect its users (its worth the subscription cost), you can avoid people reacting like this by simply bieng staight up and treating them as you would want to be treated yourself. In the grand scheme of things its not a big deal to me and we got there in the end, if there is a problem with making a payment or shipping something just be honest. Let them know and why, people will i'm assuming understand (I would) worst that could happen is the deal might be withdrawn and you both go your merry way.
By the way the Delta E was a lot of fun to shoot today having never played with a scenario gun other than rental tippys, I hope things get better for you.

While I have sympathy for you, it's not anyone else's problem so no one else should be put through any annoyance either. There was no massive amount of money involved here but for the sake of that small amount you could quite easily have shot yourself in the foot as far as trading or using this site goes.

People who get banned from here for less than courteous behaviour on the classifieds tend to find their options somewhat limited when it comes to playing at tourneys or sites. It is a small community, it is fairly easy to find out who you are, who you play for and eventually someone will cop on at an event.

Organisers and site owners don't want pillocks running round their events, simple as that. How you behave online sets peoples' opinions of you before they ever meet you.........
