I haven't seen the reffing at mills but it looks like they've done well in the states last year, came across the pond and haven't dominated like they were expected too and now their crying about it.

Well, a drunken ref being abusive and threatening towards Damage players Saturday night, and nothing having been done about it.... is most definitely their "get out of jail free" card :)

I'll bet you the MS does not dare to threaten with economic compensation, as that would come right back and bite them in the ass - because of that particular incident.... not to mention their license being owned by G.I. (I assume?)

Shame to lose Damage, they were most definitely a valued addition to the league, and one that started to make the MS more International again, after years of only Dynasty competing in the CPL.

I for one am wondering, if the league has gotten to a point where there is such a fear of the refs (and repercussions at your next event), that players and teams no longer dare to question their performance (on and off the field), or if such criticism is still being levelled at the league, but ignored?

I seem to have heard a lot of stories the last couple of years, of arrogance, unfriendlyness, poor decorum (like refs high 5ing after making a 141 call), bias, etc.

It makes me wonder, if it is like it always was, losers complaining, or if there is in fact an issue that ought to be taken serious by the MS?

I for one find most refs to be friendly and doing a god job..... but I have most definitely also come across a few giant a..holes, who seem to outlive their sadistical tendencies through reffing :)

I believe the MS need:

1. An alcohol policy for referees
2. A public set of rules on the decorum of referees

Those two would go a long way in clearing up some things in the league.

However, since we are still waiting on an update of an 6,5 year old rulebook..... I won't hold my breath ;)
