The thread may be old but its hardly dead and buried, its open ended and as relevant today as the day it was posted.

These sorts of threads could live as long as the forum. Even if tippy went out of business the thread would still be usable by the hardcore collectors.

Pretty much like the Tippy itself, then?
;)

I do love the milsim guns going around, there are some gorgeous X7's, but I could never lug one around during play. Even with a remote line.

They do look the nuts when your playing army in the woods but Im with you Bam, they're too heavy.

It does make me chuckle seeing scenario players with the milsim marker, remote line and full tac vest carrying more paint than humanly possible to shoot especially with the 0.8 bottle strapped to their backs.

Never quite got that either, they must be getting air somewhere - although not sure where, since tippy's are notoriously gas happy.
:D
Best I saw was at the Big Game 2k9: One milsim marker, two fibrewraps, two pistols, and more locklids than I cared to count - easily carrying a case+, not to mention the pure weight of that rig.

Obviously adamant about not leaving the game area for a loooong time, which may not have been such a bad idea, considering the walk.
