If you have considered insurance then having fencing, netting and signs do not negate a need for insurance

If you can get insured then do so. However you will find yourself having established a site
It will probably be easier & cheaper to make arrangements with a site for training

And Im thinking insurance is too pointless for what I'm going to do, as long as its safe i don't see the need.

Hi guys, just wondering if its legal to have a speedball field at my house for me and my friends to play on, it wouldn't be open to the public so only private use and training but is this ok to do?

You may find that one of your friends decides to be unfriendly if they sustain an injury. Insurance may be cheaper than court costs.

No different to having a swimming pool or tennis court on your land to be honest.
