Buying from ANS Gear?

Hey Guys,

I think this is in the correct place, if not mods could you please move it to the correct place

Anyway, I am wanting to buy a DLX Luxe from ANS Gear...however i have never bought a marker from them before, ive bought little bits and bobs but never a marker. I dont want to be paying a big customs charge, and was wondering if anyone has any dealings with ANS Gear on the 'marker front' or even just buying a marker from the States and if theyve had any problems in doing so.

Any help would be appreciated

Dr. Fingers is selling a Luxe 2.0....why go through all the hassle of importing from Stateside?

Having said that, ANSgear are very professional in their international shipping, although their P&P prices are ludircously expensive. They will declare the actual value of items (unlike oringmonkey.com) and will not falsify information to help you evade custom charges.

I got hit by custom charges on the return journey when I sent my marker over to lasermygun.com for engraving work. I asked for it to be sent back via USPS global express (which is handled by Parcelforce as a priority package @ the Coventry International Hub) as opposed to USPS global priority (handled by RoyalMail as standard 1st class international mail once it reaches the UK).

My reasoning is that UK customs are more than likely to be attracted to a high value priority package as opposed to a regular airmail parcel.

Thanks i may just have to hope for the best. Reason I want to go Stateside is because they offer a huge variety of different colours which saves me paying for annoing to gain the desired colour, and I can get alot of upgrades from ANS gear to improve efficiency etc, along with the violent series trigger which i really like the look of

Have you asked about the local distributor maybe sourcing the specific colour for you? Ask nicely you may even haggle locally
