On a safety aspect you have no special risk storing at home if it had been filled with CO2, the cylinder itself is similar enough whether it is a 3000psi or a Co2 cylinder.
If something were to happen to it the burst disks would blow before anything else.
Just dont keep it by a radiator etc, and away from kids / pets.

Freezing the cylinder can theoretically affect the springs / valves / o rings / moving parts of the fill nipple & regulator. But I would expect them to work or not.

I would say ring HPAC in the morning for reassurance

Regarding the website for Paintball Liverpool, though the equipment page mentions air, every photo shows CO2 including the one of the two kids. The only exception is the paintshop edit of the 'Call of Duty' picture which shows an electronic marker and a backwards rotor.
I'm still inclined to say that unless you have seen them with a compressor or filling via the fill nipple that they may have used the word 'air' but in fact use CO2.

If it is CO2 in there you can drain it before a correct fill with HPA, but CO2 goes liquid and you would not be able to 100% drain the CO2 past the regulator.

I would call paintball liverpool up and ask them what exactly they filled your HPA system with.

Then call HPac with this info.
spoke to hpac they said it would be fine but going to ring up paintball liverpool tomorrow just to make shore it was air they fill it up with. thanks for the help.
