Mens Nation Cup Team Try Outs 3rd of June

I suggest your message makes little sense (you imply that as Jason is now playing with BRL and Clint with Vision - an SPL team, albeit one on a mission to get themselves back into CPL - that UK players in CPL and SPL teams maybe somehow disadvantaged. FYI, not all the UK squad last year were CPL/SPL players - although they may have had previous experience). The team was made up from Nexus, Disruption, Tigers and Firm players at pretty short notice. As Clint has posted, this year's team will be picked from those who turn up for the trials (suggesting there are no automatic passes to the squad).

i was on the 2011 GB team and to be honest i thought my spot was secure for 2012 seson, it really isnt secure so i will be there fighting for it again !

Let's hope some of these keyboard ninjas will crawl out of their dark holes and don their kit for trials. It would be great to see the coaching staff have the headache of picking from a decent pool of players... The more team players that turn up the better it is for defending this title. Like Stoney has said he knows he is fighting for his spot on the team.

Right guys. there are 2 people that are going to pick the players for this Team............me and Markie!!!!

I have played with and against the best players and Teams in the world over the last 26 years, Markie has built up the Firm from scratch and now are 1 season away from the CPL, We both were involved with the GB Team last year that won, and we don't want to give up the nations cup.

So we will be picking the best players that perform on the tryouts, but of cause we were watching players at the CPPS the other weekend, and we will be watching players over the nxt few weeks and of cause we have asked a few players to come to the try outs.

SO WE WILL PICK THE PLAYERS THAT WE THINK WILL FIGHT AND DIE FOR THE CAUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just to let you know how committed i am to this england trails.

vision have made it into the top 5 for the french championships ranked 2nd after the weekend and have the finals to play
and guess what its on the same date as the England trials...

now if vision would to win this it would be a big thing for vision and they would be ranked #1 in France over 4 pro teams
so as you could understand they need me there.
but
i will have to say sorry to playing this event which they will be p=ssed
but making the england team means more to me and the only way that will happen is if im at the trails and get picked.

so i will be there bricket wood on the 3rd fighting for my spot

Good luck to everybody who tries out. There are a number of players who could upset the applecart and make it in.
Winning last year was the best and most enjoyable experience I ever had playing paintball, unfortunately I can't be there this year but I'm sure somebody will fill in and do a good job, hopefully another memorable win for the UK!

Stoney, Connor from DV8 (turns 17 next week) Reckons he can fight you for your spot If he doesn't get in then he is looking at it as amazing experience towards the U19s team trials.
