When you stated that the tax year had eneded and therefore the amounts raised should be available, one was assuming therefore that you were after figures to be contained in those accounts for that tax year and not future tax years.

Guys,

there is no problem with the topic being discussed here but if this thread descends into a slanging match it will be deleted. Just remember to keep it civilised please.

The discussion for me is over, has been for a while. The info is all there but unfortunately the damage is done.

It's a pointless exercise and I'm a bit bemused at being regarded as a "dribbling idiot" for holding a position. But not particularly bothered.

I was talking about last years tax year, it only ended 2 weeks ago. The sum in the thread was locked 2 months ago. It could be much higher by now with healthy sums being added. Is it that difficult to give a running total? Children in need give running totals every hour involving millions of pounds

I give up. The specific information that you requested has been supplied.
So you haven't seen the accounts so you can't give me a running total? I was hoping to find someone that had seen the accounts that could give a running total. It really shouldn't be this difficult

An explanation has been given on the current situation.

Your original question is a follow up on anyone having sight of the accounts.

The 'tax year' element is a red herring with 'similar to businesses...':
Echowitch said:
To respond on the subject of accounts I spoke briefly with Tim Barnett about the accounts and he has said that they are currently with a local councillor to sort the accounts and the allocation of money raised. All accounts will be released once this has been completed and not before. Similar to businesses releasing their accounts at the end of the year.
The point in that quote are that accounts will be published when the money raised has been allocated.

As in Tim post on UKScenario the money has still not been fully distributed, and he has given reasons why.

If S4S were to continue as a fund then I would expect accounts tobe published on a timed basis (eg annual) as it would be ongoing. Following the situation that happened earlier S4S will cease when the funds are distrbuted.

You are right that the total previously published as raised in 2011 will be incomplete and the final total will be greater taking into account anything raised since then.

You are unlikely to get a satisfactory answer to your questions on this thread at the moment, therefore either wait based on Tims update or raise the question by other means such as contacting Shoreline (Note S4S is not Shoreline, just that the key players in begining S4S are Shoreline) or others such as the councillor concerned, the RBL Welfare or 3 Royal Welsh.

The councillor has been named in the previous thread, the unit POCs in 3RW have been named in the quoted posts. Contact details could be obtained from someone if required.

The subject can be a sore point following on from the many issues in the previous thread, it is for this reason that you have had the responses received from all sides of the community.

I am trying to figure out why after 37 post's most of them are about "untoward" things happening but not one of them has actually answered the first question. Yes or No that was all I was looking for but I have been accused of stirring things up, being involved with paintball politics (whatever that is:confused:) being told to "Man up" and being told to go and sulk some where and lick my balls.
All this for asking a pretty simple question.
I went into a petrol station this morning and on the counter there was a bucket and a piece of paper on the front that said "Childrens Hospital £635.20 (this isn't the exact figure) raised so far" and I thought thats how simple it is. If I think about it in the morning I will take a picture and post it up.
Thats how simple it should be, unless there is somthing untowards, I'm not saying there is,as I said in an eariler post I was hoping to celebrate the achievment
