Living on the edge, often bouncing on a ledge
So were now at that time for round 2, hopefully better weather...........especially as were still recovering from round 1. Some of you regulars may have noticed some changes to the site which should be completed in all for round 3.
The car park for main CPPS events now will be in the grass field on the right as you drive down to the site. Follow the signs or staff on the morning. Only trade vehicles, those essential to the stands and staff are permited onto the main site on sat/sunday of main events. There is a walk way through the hedge into the site so again follow the signs.

The field layout which has been provided by those nice guys over at Ant Apps is what will be used on 3 x fields, with the 4th being as close to the layout.......except for the snake.

As usual we have places available on 3 fields for practice. These are limited and first booked, first in.
If you have your paint of either LiPS or us on the saturday then it is £30 incl a box of practice paint and green fee or £15 if byo.

The schedule has been tweeked and remeber that this event the Conference and Race to 4 is the morning session and the M5 Premier and Championship is the afternoon.

Due to the wet weather all the teams will have to re-do the season disclaimers as they are pretty trashed from last event.

Rant:
I do feel at this point i would like to air a few issues of my own in terms of feedback. This does not apply to all teams, the ones that do you know who you are as do i.
Litter/Rubbish:
You may find this hard to belive but our site is not a waste ground. We are still picking up rubbish and peoples crap 5 weeks later. This is not and will not be aceptable anymore. Any team/person found deliberatel;y littering will be fined £100 and banned from site until fee paid. We dont expect any team to hoover and dust the premeses but i dont expect my staff to be picking up batteries, socks and trainers from all corners of the site due to lazy wankers dumping there **** on the floor. This goes for the car park. If you cant be arsed to put it in the bin take it home!

Read the schedule!
The schedule is there for your use as well as ours. We dont have time in the formats to chase teams that are stagged 10 ft from the fields. If you cannot be bothered to read the schedule and plan your session/matches etc and be ready to go on the field you should be on then you will not be waited for. If you have any problems understanding or reading the schedule please come and see a member of staff.

Wrist bands.
Please make sure you have all your pit crew/ players signed in on the sheet when you sign in. It makes life very difficult for the staff having to re issue bands and add people. Also it is the captain/coach/manager's reponsibility to make sure the players have the bands. We will give them to the captain in one bunch.

As usual anything to ask just post up, PM or call 07977 060694.

this isn't meant as a dig but if there was going to be a change to the way the scheduling worked (swapping race 2/4) then 2 weeks notice isn't really adequate in my view and would have been much better to announce it along with the 2012 info thread or immediately after round 1.

it is stated somewhere in the info thread that the schedule would change every event. round 1+3 race 4 in afternoon session and champ/race 2 morning. and round 2+4 race 4 in morning session and race 2/champ in afternoon.

We will still be running the half day formats but they will alternate each event.
So event 1 and 3 will be Prem A, B and Championship in the morning session with M7 Race to 4 and conference in the afternoon.
Event's 2 and 4 will be the reverse of this so Prem A, B and Champ will be afternoon.

A 60 second look and voila....

OK folks, happy new year. Lets hope 2012 is all we hope for.

We are going to be giving the series a few tweaks and lifts as i feel in 2011 it didnt live upto the potential we thought it had. Anyway onwards and upwards and here's what were doing, or at least planning on.

Were reducing capacity slightly to 4 fields, mainly as we feel we can maintain a higher quality control on how the events run and solves a shortfall in referee's and staff.
Obviously that limits the potential for how many teams can enter but we have always been about quality over quantity and so feel this will work for everyone.

Formats and prices.
We are structuring the pricing and prizes around the divisions slighlty differently this year. This will be reflected in the prizes on offer for each division as well as the entry.
M5:
Prem A: £900 (£225 per event)
Limited to 10 teams, locked into all 4 events.
Prize pool minimum 25 boxes of paint split between1-3rd plus sponsor prizes.

Prem B: £860 (£215) per event
Limited to 12 places. locked into all 4 events.
Prize pool minimum 18 boxes of paint split between 1-3rd plus sponsor prizes.

Championship: £205 per event
20 places limited to first booked first served at each event. Once places are taken, additional entries will only be permitted if a team drops out will the spot be offered to the next on reserve list.
Prize pool minimum 16 boxes split between 1-4th plus sponsor prizes.

Conference: £195 per event.
Open division with a maximum of 10 spaces at each event.

M7 Race to 4. £275 per event
Maximum of 15 teams per event.
For the first 2 events eams will be grouped in one big section playing 4 matches per event. The scores will then be calculted and then split for the last 2 events into an "elite" top section and then a second tier.
We feel this gives teams a better chance to prove there ability as the top spots have to be earnt rather than self proclaimed. The top elite section will only become locked for event's 3 and 4. Again spaces will be offered on first to drop out looses there spot.
Prize pool tbc

Second team discounts.
We will offer a £30 reduction of any second team entered. Teams cannot have multiple entries in the same division.

Also we will be enforcing in 2012 event roster locks. In this we mean you can only play for 1 team in any one session.

As for 2011 prizes the teams that recieved trophies will be offered discounted spots for 2012 as well as the winners being offered a number of prize packs from the industry.

Please feel free to ask any questions on here or via email, phone (between 9am - 6pm) etc. I will endeavour to update team lists with the various number of teams enquiring over the xmas period in the next few days.
