What was the time of that woman saying it's not a sport? I'd love to hear her reasons, was it just blatant ignorance of the speed ball side?
In all fairness when you mention paintball to most people (who have never played the game) they have this crazy assumption it's just a bunch of people running around in a wood pretending to be soldiers.
Fair point, but when someone mentions darts I think of a group of fat drunk guys throwing needles at a wall, yet I'd never dream to call in arguing it's not a real sport if I really know nothing about it. When i try to explain to people about the tournament structure in the UK and especially international tournaments like the Millennium,NPPL & PSP events people seem quite surprised that it's played at that level.
