Etek 2 inconsistent velocity

i had practice yesterday and i went through a lot of paint trying to set the correct velocity but it was really inconsistent literally between 230 and 300 at one point any advice would be appreciated i have replaced the battery and it still did the same(duracell) is there some bit of maintenance i have missed out?

Hey,
If you haven't fixed this yet, and you feel comfortable doing so, try taking the reg apart, and giving it a clean, just wipe it all down and re-grease the o-rings.

There are numerous causes of inconsistent velocity from; weak batteries to poor paint to barrel matches and everything in between.

If you're new to the sport and would rather someone else took a look at it then please feel free to contact one of our technicians such as Robert Pozderka on: robert.p@planeteclipse.com and arrange to send your marker into Planet Eclipse to be serviced and repaired.

hwo much roughley is it for a etek 2 service from you guys? i had the same problem and i just gave it a good clean and re lube and then through a fair few shots in it, spend time with the tweeking of the lpr and hpr and it seems to have sorted its self.

Sorry for the thread hack - but this links in to a little question that I was going to post..

...........is this the same for teching at S6 games? Seem to have a leak on me Etek 1 and as going to BTTF thought I'd pop over and see you there some point on the Sunday.

thanks for the info, just stripped it down and theres some paint in the LPR could have caused it??? ive given the inline reg and lpr a clean now so fingers crossed next time its all good, bit of a nightmare yesterday at uk southern masters though the velocity was all over the place :s
