Before i put this up for sale need something confirmed.

Have a dive tank was brought brand new what is the test on it

The only date i can see is one stamped on it which is

Does this have 5 years as it was new Think it was from lips

When does your Cylinder need testing?

A cylinder used for diving must be visually inspected every 2.5 years and hydro-statically tested every 5 years. The cylinder should be additionally tested if it is dropped or damaged in any way.

A cylinder for surface use only e.g. air rifle filling only requires hydrostatic testing every 5 years.

Ok so with that last commet what is the difference between a Surface and a Dive one. Is there any ways of telling

And the reg is different as it actually has a Purge
