Ego 10 question

When my Ego 10 is first used after a few days and chronographed its way over 300fps...so i adjust it down the way and re chrono to about 270/280 after using it for ten mins or so it then chronographs at 190-220..so i then have to adjust it back up the way....why would this be?
(New battery, cleaned and oiled as instructed)

When you say new battery, which brand and type of battery do you use? Always use high quality Alkaline batteries.

Also what air system are you using? If you change air-system does it behave in a similar fashion?

Duracells brand new every time. Different air tanks exact same prob....

Okay, are trhey Alkaline Duracells?

Is it all at stock settings or has anything been "tuned". In particular check the dwell, lpr and hpr settings first and foremost.

Yes thanks Nicky, Alkaline duracells, and I reset the board to default factory settings as soon as I got it...and it has been doing this "playing" up since day one. The adjustments on the mechanical side are as recommended as per the manual. Just odd that it chrono's way over at first then settles down to 200 odd after a few mins then I have to adjust it back up...

Final thing to check is the condition of your Inline Regulator piston seal and/or Inline regulator adjuster.

OK will swap all the seals on the regulator andget it chrono'd when at Wildwoodz next and let you know...
