Sending a marker to the states?

Anyone who's sent a marker to the states before got any suggestion on what courier service to use? used RM last time and it took about 30 days mostly held in customs for some reason so don't want to use them again.

Customs usually hold something because the paper work has not been filled in right , sent 3 or 4 markers to the states and never had a problem with Royal Mail.
