etek 3 leaking

hi my etek 3 is leaking, it sound like it is coming from the rammer area so i changed all the o ring on that rammer and that didint stop, and am not a tech and dont like taking my gun apart, any ideas thanks, plus i sent in in the other month as the inline piston changed.

also when i push the bolt foward a little bit it stops

Hi cambojnr,

Can you clarify what o-rings you changed on your Etek3 rammer and most importantly what sizes of o-ring you used as the replacements?

If you have used the correct sized o-rings, lubricated them with Eclipse Oil and the leak is still evident, then there is a good possibility that the leak is actually coming from your Exhaust Valve. This would infact be quite logical if your marker has had it's inline regulator piston replaced in the recent future as this could have caused over-pressurization and damage to your exhaust valve.

I used a 011 NBR70 for the back of the rammer, 010 NBR70 for the middle 1, and a 009 NBR70 for the front 1

The middle o-ring should actually be a 009 NBR 70

For what its worth i still suspect your exhaust valve, so register the marker and email me

Replied and sorted. A new exhaust valve will be with you before the end of the week

ok thanks, as i changed that o-ring and it's still doing it

Full instructions for how to change this can be found in your Etek3 manual. If you're still not confident then by all means send the marker in and we will gladly do it for you.
