Air Bunker Caps

Okay, so it turns out that our team Captain has a few bunkers kicking about, but he seems to have lost the caps.

Anyone have any experience of what can be used as makeshift caps until we can order some spares? It could be awhile as I'm not sure what year the bunkers are, or even which brand, so we need to track down the field they came from

Black bin bags work.

Just crumple them up and stuff them in the valve or something?

You could also try gas bottle valve caps. I know they are left hand thread but put insulation tape on them and make your own thread.

I haven't had a close look at them yet, and I'm REALLY hoping they're not the old style that just take cork-style plugs... that would be annoying.

Hey mate get everyone in your team to buy DRENCH soft drinks with the screw Blue bottle caps, I`ve been using them for some time now , perfect fit, :- Note , corks do work but they need to be tight and there`s the problem, when you pull them out they take the tube fill and patch with them , so be careful, if you do use corks hold the neck and screw the cork in ...and when taking out.. .. Bluey

I am gonna buy a bottle or two of this before walkons tonight and give it a try
