Does America really have 'everything'?
They certainly don't have my latest purchase from an exclusive UK customiser

Most items probably are on sale here, o-rings are available from various o-ring suppliers in the UK.
Cylinder o-rings are cheapest via eBay, for anything else I've wanted the cheapest has been polymax and you can select any quantity of any size
You just have to choose what you want rather than pick a pre-selected kit

It seems to be forgotten that a number if items are designed / built by British companies

I have bought American, but most of the main UK stores have been willing to add items to their imports

A point to note is America is a big country, and has a lot of paintball stores. They also have suffered and down sized or gone out of business

There are a few very good suppliers in the uk who work hard to support players

What is it that you are after? Someone may be able to direct you to a supplier

Sometimes it can be due to overheads disproportionate to the item, and sometimes due to web shop postage not being flexible for low value / light items. Or they just add on costs to something they don't really want to sell as a single item as it probably costs them more in effort to put in an envelope and post then sell infrequently

They probably have to stock a box load of macroline for that one sale as well

For something like that it will work out more coati able as a buyer to get a set of items such as macroline, fittings etc like on lips:

A call will probably save money though - that would in fact probably work out cheaper for an online shop to deal with you on the phone and put it straight in an envelope then going into their e-commerce system etc

Dude, how much profit can a shop make from selling macroline and fittings to maybe ...... what......500 players, half of which have guns with no macroline, half the other half have working guns and don't need new macroline, and when the other quarter do buy some, they don't need any more for like 12 months to 3 years! 100 sales max, doesn't make a business.

I don't want to invest, I'm out.

actually 3 quid for 12" of Macroline ain't that bad. I charge $2/foot at WHL. Granted, I earn a fxxxing mint out of that, but still, most people only need 7" of it. They can 'bank' the rest, so it's like shares, but different. I have several 5" lengths and am hoping they go up in value. Maybe I should bring them over to the UK this Christmas and cash them in...

Short-sighted of you.
100 sales, even at 2quid (33% savings for the customer), would generate 200pounds, minus cost and shipping could generate a profit in the region of 45 pounds within 2 short years. You don't want a peice of that?
