If you use your manual to set it up initially then you shouldn't really need to change anything after that.
If you do then learning how to change the fire mode & rate of fire cap isn't difficult, although I would recommend that you always have a copy of the manual in your kit bag.
Does anyone reckon it's worth picking up an Etha and then customising it? (not a fan of black really)
