Alright guys,

I was recommended to this site for picking up some decent clothing. At the moment I'm doing rec-ball but thinking about doing it long term. I literally don't know anything about equipment/clothing but I'm just looking to buy a top, and some trousers, and maybe some gloves.

I'm basically looking for advice, like where to look, or what to look for and what price ranges to go for for a Jersey (top, I think that's it) and some legs. I'm not sure if you wear another padded top under or something?

I'm sorting out a mask so atm that's the only three things I'm looking for.

You'd better clarify with the seller which zip on those pants is not working.....

Personally, i would aim to spend a little more. It's best to invest a tad more in "higher-end" gear now than find what you thought was initially a bargain price piece of gear doesn't quite cut it.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I don't understand how clothing just 'doesn't cut it'. I mean I'm not bothered about actual protection that much, just setting the scene.

when you're diving around in the woods and/or sun-baked mud, you'll be thankful for well padded playing pants :p

Jersey looks fine (it's a 2009 design), Pants look old skool (like pre 2003).

this might be of some help to you:

The jersey is already bought so I'll keep looking for one.

The video helped thank you!

If your looking to play rec ball, go for dark or camo pants and tops.

You have the option to buy a bounce vest which is worn under the jersey, not essential, but does help.

Also consider some knee and elbow pads, for that extra protection.

I suggest you put up a thread in the wanted section for the specific items you need.
State the size you require and colour.
