Hi all

I have played rec-ball quite a few times and have really loved it, I amlooking to play woodsball have bought a lot of my kit now and I have decided tobuy a second hand marker.

With the marker I need some advice:

Option 1

BT4 Combat (which I can afford now) and build up the marker up each month.

Option 2

Tippmann Bravo Tactical Edition (which I should be able to afford in December)

Option 3

BT TM7 (which I should be able to afford in January)

Should I go with option 1, by the time I can afford the TM7 I could alreadyhave an e-grip and rip clip? Would option 2 be the better choice?

Any advice would be gratefully received

Personally I would say to wait and save up a bit first.

Simple reason for this is because if you buy a BT4 Combat now then I guarantee that in a couple of months you'll want to upgrade it or move onto something better, and so you'll end up selling it at a loss. If you buy a better marker to begin with then you won't need to move onto anything else for a longer period of time and so you won't have the hassle of trying to sell your marker, taking a loss on it, and then having to find another one to buy.

I am playing at Alamo Paintball in Whittlesey about every 3/4 weeks at the moment, which is any a few miles from home and I have played at Delta Force in Kegworth which is near my in-laws. I am hoping to play at Diamond Wars at the end of the month, but don't really know a lot about it yet.

Ok, so at your regular site is there air? If so, I would do as the second post says and wait a little while to get a higher performance "tournament" style marker that will last you longer.

Good advice guys!

Yes, they do have air and thank you for help your help
Had any thoughts on a second hand tournie style marker? How much is a BT TM7? £340?

Cause for second hand you could get one of these http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?150092-Black-Empire-Axe and you would have £90 left over to go play some paintball. That gun is an Empire Axe. The BT TM7 is basically the Invert/Empire Mini in a scenario style gun, and the Mini is from 2008/9 (I forget) whereas the Axe is the latest version (and alot better gun)

And if you have any problems with an AXE, shoot me a PM and I'll help you out.

Delta force sites do not let the use of electro markers. I could be wrong if they have changed there policy, but kegworth is only a few miles away from me, use to go there years ago.

Your better option would be play Diamond Wars, you will get much better value for your hard earned. Ged and the marshalls/staff there will look after you well.
