More likely, he wanted to ensure all paint went in the loader than some dropping about while making the video...

I'd be shocked if Jack didnt know how to use a speedfeed...

I see your point but I was talking to my mate about it and he referred to it as a 'Planet Mini', which I think is an accurate description. My concern is, will it have problems the same way the Mini did originally, and were only rectified with later models.

I can't argue about the price though, as long as the Planet quality remains intact.

It'll be absolutely nothing like the mini. Nor is it anything like the mini. For one it's bigger(roughly the same size as the geo 1). And two, it shoots nothing like the mini.

Where you get that ludacris description from is beyond me

And since when did american price ever directly translate to UK price with the exchange rate? I have serious doubts about this being a £250 marker. Looks nice though

Finally I can say something!

Shot this marker on quite a few occasions now and all I can say is WOW. Expect the usual build quality and performance at what is looking to be a fraction of the cost. Ok it's a little louder and has a fraction more kick than a GEO, but who cares! It's light, efficient and shoots ropes. I was putting Ultra Evil through it one day that had been sat open in my shed for 6 months. Not a single break. At the price this is looking to come out at, it's a no brainer for A. New players & B. Anyone looking to spend more on their game than their equipment.......not forgetting C. Woodsballers - check out the press release where Nick mentions "modular"

I don't think Planet sat down and thought "mmm.....let's copy a mini". They looked to produce a budget marker based upon the GEO. It won't have the bells and whistles as it's bigger brothers, but that's not the point here....it's a marker that will work, and combined with the customer service that Planet has built their reputation on, it's exactly what the industry needs right now.

Anyway, don't take my word for it, check it out this weekend at Super 6, or wherever you can get your hands on one. It speaks for itself

I'm sure it'll be a great marker if planet are making it, sorry if my plastic mini comment was a bit flippant but I thought I saw a mention of it being an in line poppet and that's the only other one I can think of.

I don't remember saying anything about the size or the way it shoots I merely used the reference because they are both entry level markers, which most likely means reduced production costs and lesser quality components used in the manufacturing of it, which in turn could lead to initial faults, just like the Mini

Of course this is just my opinion, and I hope I'm wrong because it looks phenominal
