Went out in June to play D-day.
Took one marker out with me. Notified the airline before we got to the airport. Made sure I had instructions for the marker int he bag, plus obviously also had all my playing gear.
Coming back I bought 4 new markers. Took them out of the packaging and also told airline i would have them.
Going out the British airline was all over my one marker, coming back the Yank side barely gave them a second glance. Between the team we bought 14 new guns back. Not a single problem coming through the airport. Just take them out of the packaging tell em its your hobby, their yours, you collect them.
Don't carry the reciepts for brand new markers on you, post them back to yourself.
If you post the markers back to yourself you will gte caught with import duty. I have imported quite a few new and have always been caught. The only way you can really get round it is if the sender under values the marker and if you do that you then have no comeback if it is lost in transit....
